Employer Sponsored Group Education Savings Plan

Global RESP Group Plans

The Global RESP Corporation (GRESP) Sponsored Group Education Savings Plan has been designed as a voluntary benefit program that can be integrated into a traditional benefit plan, a flex benefit plan or a spending account plan. There is no minimum participation required to start or retain the plan. Payroll deductions are the preferred method of payment and allow the employer to provide value to employees. GRESP formats your payroll dates and cut-off dates within your system and forwards withdrawal amounts in a format that best accommodates your payroll system.

Employer contributions are completely optional. If you decide to contribute to your employees' Education Savings Plan (ESP), the contributions you provide are a taxable benefit to your employee.

The program operates simply with minimum involvement of your company's administration. Your employees deal directly with GRESP or its representatives. Procedures are simple for your employees and GRESP will save them the effort of searching for a reliable RESP provider.

If you are thinking of expanding your employee benefits package, consider an Education Savings Plan from Global.
