Global RESP Corporation (GRESP) is pleased to announce the fourth quarter winner of the 2017 GRESP Contest: Malcolm Rines from Toronto, Ontario! His mother, Marjorie Anne McDougall, had entered him into the contest for a chance to win a Global Education Savings Plan worth up to $5,000. Like many parents, she understands the importance of providing post-secondary education to her children. Investing in a Global Plan, was a first step to saving for her child’s education.
Now that 12-year old Malcolm has won the contest, we hope this prize can help kick start his post-secondary education and will guide him to a successful future in his chosen career path to become an engineer.
Malcolm & his mother had the opportunity to visit our head office in Richmond Hill and meet with Hanane Bouji & Mariana Todorova from the Global family of companies. They were joined by a few staff members as Malcolm was given a commemorative framed certificate in acknowledgement of his good fortunes.
A Global Plan, when registered under the Income Tax Act (Canada), allows the beneficiary to be eligible to receive up
to $7,200 in Canada Education Savings Grant and up to $2,000 in Canada Learning Bond for a total of $9,200 in government grants. Earnings on contributions and government grants grow on a tax-deferred basis.Congratulations to Malcolm for being the fourth quarter winner of the 2017 GRESP Contest!
